Further C-130J Hercules For lraq...And T-6A Texan II Too!

Two further Lockheed Martin C-130J-30 Hercules have been ordered by the US Air Force on behalf of the Iraqi Air Force. The $140 million (£86 million) deal was announced by the US Department of Defense on August 11. A previous contract for four examplesrnof the C-130J for the air arm was placed on April 30 (see Hercules and Bell 407s For Iraq, June p7) and the latest deal is a modification of that order.
