F-x2 Fighter Rfps Delivered

Information in response to the request for proposals (RfP) for the F-X2 competition was submitted to the Forqa Aerea Brasileira (Brazilian Air Force) on February 2 from the three shortlisted multi-role combat aircraft manufacturers. The three aircraft in contention are the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet Block II, Dassault Rafale and Saab Gripen NG. The commercial, technical, operational, logistic, offset-related, industrial and technology transfer aspects of each bid will be analysed before Brazil announces a winner in late 2009. F-X2 covers an initial batch of 36 fighters to be delivered from 2014.
