Eurocopter delivered a record 588 helicopters in 2008 according to CEO and President Lutz Bertling, bettering the previous best of 488 in 2007. However, speaking at a press conference in Paris on January 20, he said that orders received were down to 715 last year (see table), compared to 802 in the previous 12 months.
