Typhoon Milestones

The Eurofighter Typhoons of the Spanish Air Force have amassed 10,000 flying hours, a milestone that was marked with a ceremony at Moron Air Base. The Spanish Air Force currently has two Typhoon squadrons, Ala 111 is a frontline unit while Ala 113 is the operational conversion unit. It was during a training sortie by the latter that the landmark figure was reached. To date, the Spanish Air Force has taken delivery of 28 of the 87 aircraft it is planning to receive.
