The growth in the use of bio-diesel has opened other areas of utilizing liquid wastes from the manufacture of rape seed oil methyl ester (FARME) as an energy source.rnThe aim of this study is to assess the feasibility of utilizing liquid material wastes from the production of FARME. This study is focused on the evaluation of thermal properties of FARME and distillation residuals from FARME production plants.rnElemental analysis was done for selected liquid wastes in order to set basic parameters of fuels. The stoichiometric analysis of results showed very satisfactory thermal?emission parameters of tested liquid materials sourced from FARME. The only exception was pure rape seed oil which had a higher amount of ash in the tested sample.rnTested liquid samples sourced at methyl ester rape seed oil production line had good emission pa-rnrameters and effectiveness. These samples could be used for the same kind of liquid combustion equipment if certification requirements are completely met.
