MTI Energy, Brite's Oil, Intank: the newcomer foreign firms in Angolan onshore

The only three foreign companies which expressedinterest in onshore exploration blocks in Angola's latesttender were successful, winning stakes in the Bas-Congo and Kwanza basins. The Canadian firm MTI Energydid best. It won the contract to operate four of the nineblocks it applied for: CON 5 (50%), KON 5 (60%), KON 17(60%) and KON 20 (50%).
