Loads produced by the static weight of the tooling, inertial loads imposed by robot motion and the loads produced by the end-effector when performing its intended task, all must be considered to optimize the device's performance. Once the loads are calculated and a specific model is chosen, the operator can set the required air supply pressure accordingly.
