The 2019 Dubai Air Show was held for five days from 17-21 November with with an estimated 90,000 people attending the five-day event at the DWC Exhibition Center close to Al Maktoum Airport. After a subdued start to commercial deals, figures from the show organisers say that the 2019 Dubai Airshow saw $54.5bn in aircraft orders - compared to $113.8bn from the 2017 exhibition where 874 aircraft were ordered. The 2019 show saw over 84,000 visitors, compared to 79,380 attendees in 2017. An estimated 1,288 exhibitors and 161 aircraft were on display at the event. Aircraft debuting at Dubai for the first time included the Saab GlobalEye, Boeing KC-46 Pegasus, Russian Helicopters Mi-38 and Yak-130 trainer. The flying display included flypasts by helicopters of the UAE's Joint Aviation Command and RAF Typhoons, as well as aerobatics by the UAE AF Al Fursan and France AF Patrouille de France teams. Stealth was on show with a flying display from a USAF F-22 and a short demo from a USAF F-35A Lightning II - the type's first appearance at the Dubai Air Show. The exhibition also saw civil aviation represented with displays by the Airbus A330neo and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
