Hollow waveguide research by QinetiQ

摘要

Making micro-systems even more micro without any degradation in functions is an ongoing exercise in the aerospace industry. There is a particular need for instruments used by spacecraft, or carried onboard as part of scientific systems, to be as light as possible and very tightly packaged. To meet these needs, QinetiQ is developing hollow waveguide motherboard optical integration technology at its Optronics Center.
