Air-traffic management no small issue

Last year, general aviation (GA) aircraft billings were $18.1 billion, a 24.1% increase over the $15.1 billion billings recorded in 2005, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) Annual Industry Review & 2007 Market Outlook. Included in those figures was an 11.6% increase in shipment of airplanes powered by piston engines, the highest number of shipments since 1982.
