On October 3, 1965, Iraqi Airways inaug-urated services with the original "export Trident", the 1E. Its three aircraft served on major regional routes out of Baghdad and on services to European cities.rnIn March 1966 Kuwait Airways and PIA took their first 1 Es, the latter using its four Tridents on services from Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi to Dacca and, later, to the Persian Gulf. A fourth aircraft, for the Pakistan Air Force, was redirected to PIA before delivery.
