B-17 Sally B back in the air

After a 1hr test flight on May 14, Boeing B-17G Sally B returned to display flying at Duxford's Spring Air Show on May 17. The bomber sat out the 2008 season with engine problems. A replacement No 1 engine was overhauled by Deltair in Hampshire, and fitted by engineers from the operator and Edwards Brothers Aviation.
