The design of a 10 GHz low pass, low loss, slow-wave CPW periodic filter after Sor et al. was implemented using two Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic (LTCC) dielectric materials (951 and 943 Green Tape~(TM)) with gold and silver screen printed and Fodel~(~R) photopatterned cofired and post fired conductors. The material tradeoffs are reviewed and the test results compared to circuit simulations performed using SONNET~(AE) software. Comparisons and discussion of filter performance for the material and patterning variations are made.
