The Angel Chapter helped co-host SoCal 2009, a topical workshop with exhibits, titled "Counterfeit Electronic Parts; Awareness, Avoidance, Detection, and Mitigation." It was held October 1 at the Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport. SoCal 2009 was co-hosted with the NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Counterfeit Electronic Parts Working Group. Attendance was about 300 participants with about 30 booths.
