Leaders of the Metropolitan, Keystone, Empire, Garden State, and Chesapeake chapters are making final arrangements for the Mid-Atlantic Microelectronics Conference to be held on June 17 and 18 at the Atlantic City Hilton. Programs on June 17 will feature two professional development courses on wire bonding and near-hermetic packaging. Lee Levine is completing the planning of a technical workshop on portable electronics.rnEvents on Friday, June 18 will feature four educational sessions: each with four half-hour presentations. George Katopis of IBM will provide the keynote presentation on 3D packaging. The exhibit hall will feature about 30 exhibits.
