James Heal introduces touchscreen control panel for testing equipment

A manufacturer of textile testing equipment has added a touchscreen-based control panel to its portfolio. James Heal of Halifax, UK, launched its Touchscreen User Interface (TUI) during ITMA Asia + CITME 2016 (held in Shanghai, China, 21-25 October 2016) and said the controller will ultimately be available for use with its complete range of test instruments, including the equipment demonstrated at the exhibition: the Martindale abrasion and pilling tester; the random tumble pilling tester (Impulse); the colourfastness tester (Gyrowash).
