Mogul launches range of thermoplastic polyurethane nonwovens

Mogul has launched a range of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) nonwovens, which it will sell as part of its Elastex brand. The company, based in Gaziantep, Turkey, says the latest fabrics are based on polyester (PES)-based, rather than polyethylene (PE)-based, TPU and are designed to provide good elongation and good elastic recovery. As well as providing good stretching characteristics, Elastex TPU nonwovens have a high permeability to air, and resist abrasion, puncturing, ageing and ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
