Kraig Biocraft Laboratories says it has selected the site for its operational headquarters in Quang Nam province, Vietnam. The company, which is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, aims to introduce full-scale commercial production of a spidersilk spun from transgenic silkworms. The undisclosed location is said to be in the heart of the province, close to mulberry fields, and with easy access to international air- and seaports. The area is also home to a great many workers with experience in the silk industry.
