摘要

This special issue includes nine extended, reviewed and revised papers originally presented at The Sixth International Conference on Engineering Computational Technology (ECT2008) and The Ninth International Conference on Computational Structures Technology (CST2008) held concurrently in Athens, Greece, 2-5 September 2008. Dr. Wassim Habichi was awarded the ECT2008 - Young Researcher Best Paper Prize for the first paper in this special issue entitled: "Stabilized fully-coupled finite elements for elastohydrodynamic lubrication problems" written with his colleagues D. Eyheramendy, P. Vergne and G. Morales-Espejel.
