An Efficient Algorithm for Detecting Defects in Digital Images

The Use of Automated visual inspection systems in industrial perspective is numerous. There are various defect detection algorithms which can be can be deployed effectively in automated visual inspection systems. In this research paper we have developed a new algorithm which uses feature extraction and segmentation for detecting defects in texture and non texture digital images. This algorithm is fast and simple in detecting the defects in digital images.
