ACRL CONFERENCE DRAWS RECORD NUMBER OF PAID ATTENDEES

Some 3263 face-to-face (2908) and virtual (355) attendees-a record number of paid attendees-participated in the 14th Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) National Conference, which took place in Seattle March 12-15, slightly above the 3169 paid attendees at the previous conference in 2007. Total attendance, including library staff, exhibitors, speakers, and guests, reached 4321, 10 percent below the 4784 attendees at the 2007 Baltimore conference but 10 percent above the 3946 attendees at the 2005 conference in Minneapolis.
