PROQUEST ACQUIRES COUTTS, MYILIBRARY FROM INGRAM

ProQuest has acquired Coutts Information Services from Ingram Content Group, adding Coutts' expertise in collection development, broad catalog of print and digital titles, and MyiLibrary and OASIS platforms to ProQuest's vast selection of e-books and innovative technology framework. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The move paves the way to combine Coutts' acquisitions strengths with ProQuest's digital tools in order to deliver an end-to-end work flow across print and electronic. Ingram and ProQuest have entered into a strategic partnership whereby Ingram will play a continuing role in print fulfillment in North America, supporting ProQuest with its extensive print inventory, fast on-demand print capabilities, and delivery network and providing customers with access to more than 13 million print titles from over 30,000 publishers.
