摘要

Recent years have witnessed a plethora of research efforts aimed at the rational design of organic semiconductor materials for applications in organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) and related electronic and optoelectronic devices. Whereas p-type semiconductors have been studied extensively, research on n-channel semiconducting materials still lags behind these developments. The availability of high-performance n-type materials, in which the majority charge carriers are electrons, is desirable for the fabrication of p-n junctions and complementary circuits.
