Electricity Generation based on One-Dimensional Group-Ill Nitride Nanomaterials

摘要

Piezoelectric generation is extended to the new domain of group-Ill nitrides. Thernoutput increases with increasing carrier density following the sequence: AIN, AIGaN, GaN and InN. The results indicate that, for a nanomaterial whose conductivity is below an optimum value, the output of its piezoelectric nanogenerator is dominated by the consumed voltage at the nanomaterial.
