Over a long period of time, the efforts of various studies on organic electronics have been devoted to improving the performance of organic devices.For high-performance organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), single crystals are ideal charge-transport material candidates in which grain boundaries are absent and concentration of charge traps is minimized. In the past few decades, great efforts have been devoted to fabricating OFETs with organic semiconductor single crystals.'3'4' However, OFET performance depends not only on the organic semiconductor involved but also on the gate dielectric and contact interface.'5' For example, an ideal insulator requires a low concentration of charge traps, high capacitance and low leakage current. To date, quite a lot of materials have been introduced as gate insulators for OFETs including high·k inorganics, polymers and self-assembled small molecules.However, these materials are non-crystalline, and numerous defects
