Belgian hub buys Quintiq labour tool

Netherlands-headquartered Quintiq has won the contract to supply Belgian container terminal operator, PSA HNN, with its advanced planning and workforce optimisation system. The go-live date is scheduled to take place in the second half of next year, which will see the Quintiq system replace PSA HNN's existing centralised automated dispatch system (Cads), which the company says is no longer able to cope with the sheer amount of jobs detailed to dock workers and cargo handling equipment.
