Southampton buys two Gottwald MHCs

Associated British Ports (ABP)-owned port of Southampton has ordered two new 63-tonne HMK 170E mobile harbour cranes from Gottwald. The two cranes are scheduled to be commissioned in September and October and will be used for handling containers. According to Doug Morrison, Southampton port director, ABP's experience with Gottwald's cranes and service had a strong influence on the decision to go with the firm.
