In spite of port infrastructure projects being shelved around the world, Vietnam is bucking the trend with a series of deals recently announced.rnThe latest agreement saw the IFC, part of the World Bank, announce that the Infrastructure Crisis Facility (ICF) has committed a financing package to help SP-SSA International Container Services Joint Venture Company (SSIT) to develop a new deepwater container handling facility near Ho Chi Minh City. SSIT is a joint venture between Vinalines, Saigon Port and Carrix, owner of SSA Marine.
