Zpmc Wins Major Order From New Kaohsiung Hub

Yang Ming-owned Kao Ming Container Terminal (KMCT) has placed an order with ZPMC for 22 semi-automated RMG cranes to go into service at the 2.9m teu box terminal it is building in the port of Kaohsiung.rnThe US$50m deal follows on from a recent US$100m order placed with the Shanghai-based crane manufacturer for eight ship-to-shore gantry cranes capable of handling two 40ft containers simultaneously.rnZPMC said its A-RMGs are the "world's most advanced container crane" which would "greatly improve" container handling and operation efficiency at Kaohsiung port.
