Break out of boring cells with the DataList server control

While it's true that the DataList allows for more flexibility in your data display, it does lack two major features. First, you can't automatically fill a DataList. You must supply the data using data-binding expressions or code. Also, the DataList doesn't support paging. Of course, if you want this feature, you could always add it (we'll show you how in a future article). However, without it, you should avoid using your DataList to display large amounts of data.
