mRNA of IGF-Ⅰ, IGF-Ⅱ, and IGFⅠR were strongly expressed In serum-free cltured T24 cell line, whereas normal Urothelia cells did not express these factors/receptors or Only in trace levels; knockdown of IGF-ⅠR by antisense ODN greatly inhibited the growth of bladder cancer cells And enhanced sensitivity and apoptosis of T24 cells to MMC. These results suggested that Blockage of IGF-ⅠR signaling might potentially contri- But to the treatment of bladder cancer cells which were Insensitive to chemotherapy.
