摘要

An experimental investigation was made on the effect of fatigue on the change of interface shear friction stress in SiC (SCS-6) fiber-reinforced Ti-15-3 composite. An unnotched composite was subjected to a tension-tension fatigue test (R =0.1, f = 2Hz) with applied stresses of 450 Mpa. Thin specimen push-out and push-back tests were carried out for both pristine and fatigued composites to examine the change of interface shear friction stress.
