Conference Themes

摘要

After more than five years supervising in the Access and Delivery department of a state flagship university's medical research library, I switched gears late last summer and accepted a newly created reference/electronic resources librarian position at a small private liberal arts college. Less than six months into the job, I stumbled upon a listserv post advertising the Electronic Resources & Libraries annual meeting. From the description on the conference website, the content seemed to be tailor-made for my new job. Since it was the only conference I had heard of that was geared toward my primary area of responsibility, and since it was located within driving distance, I decided to go and see for myself.
