摘要

The increased capacity of the boiler was achieved by improving the ability to burn the biomass fuel (bark, wood, sludge). This improved combustion allowed for a reduction in auxiliary fuel use, resulting in a direct savings in fuel costs. The reduction in emissions was achieved by lowering the air velocity in the bottom of the furnace, which decreased carryover of material out of the furnace.
