Protect Your Access Environment

If you've been working with Access for a while, you know Access runs code in your database without warning, much like any executable application. You likely also know security has always been a great concern in the computer industry. To address vulnerabilities, Access 2003 introduced two new security features: 1. The Jet expression services now offers "Sandbox mode" to prevent malicious functions or methods from evaluating in expressions. 2. Macro Security is an Office 2000 feature originally introduced for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and is now in Access 2003.
