Move Microsoft Access Data to the Web

Microsoft Access 2003 gives you a rich set of tools for desktop data publishing and developing small to medium-sized applications. In this article, I focus on the tools built into Access 2003 you can use to publish data on the Web. These tools make it easy, even if you don't have any experience with HTML layout or Web programming. This article introduces you to these Access 2003 Web publishing tools: 1. Static HTML publishing 2. HTML templates 3. Server-generated HTML 4. Data Access Pages. I use the Northwind database that ships with Access for the examples in this article. The article assumes you have intermediate-level experience with Access 2003 (i.e., you know how to open and edit objects in the database container.) It would also be helpful to have some familiarity with VBA, although it isn't required to understand these techniques.
