Use Windows Standard Dialogs in Your Applications

Give your users the File Open and Save dialogs they want - the same dialogs used by Windows itself. I'm sure all of you have had to prompt your users to provide a file name, either because you needed to import data from the existing file, or because you needed to know where your users wanted an output file to be written. You've also seen the standard Windows Open or Save As dialogs (figure 1). Why should your users settle for anything less? I'll show you how to access those dialogs with a simple method that works reliably in all versions of Access - and it even supports letting the user select multiple file names.
