Let Users Search Memo Fields Easily

Don't strain your eyes or try your patience scanning for specific text in a memo control. Instead, add a bit of automated flexibility to your search in two different ways. Have you ever stood in a store aisle scanning all the products in frustration because you can't find what you're looking for? You know it's there; you just can't find it. If you're lucky, a nice clerk will show you exactly where it is. If you're truly lucky, the item will be several feet away from where you were standing instead of right in front of you. At least that way you won't feel so foolish. Visually searching a memo field for a particular word or phrase can also be frustrating, especially when there's a lot of text to peruse. Access' built-in Find feature is an easy-to-use search feature, but it doesn't stop at the end of the current memo field. Instead, it automatically jumps to the next record when it reaches the end of the memo text in the current record.
