This is a simple little function that saves me time. On many applications, I must repeatedly execute SQL statements. When using Access on the back end, stored procedures are not available. Even when using Oracle or SQL Server, sometimes it's more convenient to execute a command against data on the client side. To use this procedure, simply pass the SQL string. It saves you from writing the identical code over and over. I know this is nothing new, but it saves me time and it works great, plus it keeps my code concise and easy to read.
