Mail Merge to Word

Q: I've been trying to get a complicated mail merge from Access to Microsoft Word to work. The problem I'm encountering is that, when fields in the Access data are null, the Word doc shows empty spaces and labels where the data should go. This happens because there's no data to go into the Word document, and I can't figure out a way to get Word to hide the empty area in the document.
