A museum displaying the region's history of marine transportation, built by preserving the existing building frame of a 60 year old dry dock.Without interrupting the landscape that leads towards Kronborg Castle situated in the immediate vicinity, al1 facilities including the exhibition space and auditorium are submerged within a dock 8m below sea level, and are configured through three double-level bridges. By connecting the town and the museum, a new underground public space was created.
