Very few unhealthy behaviors have healthy desirable alternatives. Sunless tanning is a relatively risk-free alternative to the unhealthy behavior of suntanning, but has not been well-studied in the context of skin cancer prevention.ObjectiveThe present study examined the impact of a skin cancer prevention intervention that promoted sunless tanning as a substitute for sunbathing.
