Vacation Hazards For Travellers in Tropical Sub-Tropical and Underdeveloped Countries

This is a three part article covering the kinds of diseases imported from tropical countries, the advice which should be given to patients about to travel in these countries, and a schedule of immunization procedures to begin two months before departure date. The authors give descriptions of the symptoms and treatment of diseases which are seen in their hospital and which can easily be misdiagnosed by the family physician who does not encounter them regularly.
