MPEG-1～MPEG-7的分析与评价

The development of Moving Picture Experts Group （MPEG） series standard from MPEG-1 to MPEG-7 is introduced in this paper and the coding method of MPEG-2 standard and the defect of the coding method is analyzed in detail. The new characteristics and the frame of MPEG-4 are presented also include the conceive of MPEG-7 standard and its main difficulty in technique domain. The main development roadway of MPEG standard and the application domain is presented in detail MPEG standard will effect our future life in deep.%简要介绍MPEG1～MPEG-7的发展过程;着重分析了MPEG-2标准及其编码策略和存在的缺陷,MPEG4标准的新特色及其构成框架,MPEG-7标准构想所涉及的主要技术及难点等;详细介绍了MPEG系列标准的发展思路、技术原理及各自的应用领域,并展望了其对未来人类生活产生的影响。
