阅读理解不仅是一个感知过程,还是一个复杂的认知过程,是读者与语篇相互作用、相互结合的互动过程.本文论述了内容图式即背景知识图式在英语阅读中的重要作用,探讨帮助学生在阅读中构建和激活英语背景知识的策略,旨在为高效的英语阅读教学提供启示.%Reading comprehension is not only a sensational process but also a complex cognitive process. It is an interactive process in which the reader and the discourse interact and integrate with each other. This article elaborates the important role that content schema, I.e. Background knowledge schema plays in English reading comprehension, exploring the strategies that help students construct and activate English background knowledge in an effort to give insight on efficient teaching of English reading.
