With the development of the times, the deficiency of China's vocational education in curriculum setting and cultivation idea are prominent. It is very necessary to put forward the principle of "indispensable and enough theoretical knowledge" under the needs of the proportion of practice teaching in ensuring vocational education and improving the development of vocational educational characteristic. In this article, on the basis of interpreting the principle of "indispensable and enough theoretical knowledge" and understanding and interpreting its rationality and connotation by using advanced theory of education philosophy, three suggestions are proposed to realize it: first of all, to develop basic theoretical knowledge course of higher vocational education, secondly, to connect with students' development and social development so as to meet the needs, finally, to dialectically understand the needs of meeting students' development and the development of knowledge.%随着时代的发展,我国职业教育在课程设置和培养理念方面的不足日渐凸现.在保证职业教育中实践教学的比例和完善职业教育特色发展的需求下,提出“必须、够用”原则是十分必要的.文章在解读“必须、够用”原则的基础上,以教育哲学的先进理论理解和诠释原则的合理性和内涵,为其实现提出了三点建议:开发高职教育的基础理论知识课程；把满足学生发展与社会发展的需要结合起来；辩证认识满足学生发展和知识发展的需要.
