The effect of protecting fire resistance of ceiling materials of puhlic place of entertainment using water mist fire extinguishing system was studied, and 9mall-scale simulation experiment was made in State Key Laboratory of Fire Science, University of Science and Technology of China. The experimental results show that water mist can cool down fire surface of ceiling materials and attenuate flame radiation when protecting ceiling materials of flame burning using side-spraying for water mist fire extinguishing system, meanwhile, restraining and extinguishing fire. Through the comparison on groups of experimental data, it got using water mist to protect ceiling materials is feasible, and it can restrain the flame and protect ceiling materials effectively, which provide the reference for fire protection design of similar projects.%对细水雾灭火系统保护娱乐场所顶棚材料耐火性能的效果进行研究,在中国科学技术大学火灾科学国家重点实验室进行了小尺度模拟实验.实验结果表明,细水雾灭火系统采用侧喷式对火焰灼烧顶棚材料进行保护时,在抑制并扑灭火焰的同时,细水雾能冷却顶棚材料的受火面和衰减火焰辐射,有效的保护顶棚材料,提高了其耐火性能.通过多组实验数据进行比较得出,运用细水雾保护顶棚材料是可行的,能有效的抑制火焰和保护顶棚材料,给类似工程的消防设计提供了参考.
