“城中村”作为中国快速城镇化进程中的一个特殊产物，是一个充斥着众多矛盾与问题的“城乡二元混合体”。“城中村”中不堪的居住环境、高发的犯罪率、缺少监管的“盲区”等特征使它被大众视为“恶性的毒瘤”，必欲除之而后快；但其为外来务工人员提供了低价租金的住房，以供城市所需的廉价劳动力，又使它被视为“良性的肿瘤”，应给予包容的态度审视。“城中村”的现状问题该如何解决，其未来发展又当何去何从，一直以来都是学术界关注的重要课题。%As a particular product of Chinese rapid urbanization, "Urban Village" is the one which filled with many contradictions and problems. Its unbearable living conditions, high crime rate, lack of supervision makes it regarded as "malignant tumor". But it provides a low-cost rent housing for urban needed cheap labor, and it is regarded as "benign tumor" and should be given a tolerant attitude scrutiny. How to solve the problem of"Urban Village"? What is the future development of"Urban Village"? Academic attention has always seen it as an important issue.
