With the development of the construction of highway engineering, the problems of highway engineering emerge now and then, even lead to many traffic accidents. It brings great loss to the national economy and people's life. It is of great importance to pay more attention to testing the quality of project engineering to solve these problems. This paper expounded the importance of testing quality of highway engineering in the engineering quality management.%随着公路工程建设不断发展，公路工程的质量问题层出不穷，由此引发的交通事故也比较多，给国家的经济与人民生活都带来了非常大的损失。解决此类问题，注重公路工程的质量检测是非常关键的。本文论述了公路工程质量检测在工程质量管理中的重要性，以及搞好公路工程质量检测的有效策略。
