This paper summarizes and explains the problems may occur in the inspection process by introducing the requirements and kinds of upstream overspeed protection device, and explores the ways to accurately determine the validity and test effectiveness of the upstream overspeed protection device.%本文通过对上行超速保护装置要求、种类的介绍，和检验过程中可能出现的一些问题的总结及解释，如何准确的判定上行超速保护装置的有效性和试验的有效性。
